While Kottke Trucking prides itself on its business, the greatest source of pride is the work Kottke Trucking does to better the community. Every winter, Kottke Trucking supports a toy drive campaign called Trucks for Toys. Annually, Kottke Trucking collects and donates on average $10,000 worth of toys.
Each summer, Kottke Trucking hosts a golf outing which benefits the 18 Wheelers Relay for Life team that is captained by Pam, Jane and Desiree Kottke. Annually, the one-day event alone raises over $10,000 for the fight against cancer. The Golf for a Cure event has been going strong since 2006.
The 18 Wheelers team has been going well over a decade. With the support of Kottke Trucking, the team has raised over $200,000 for cancer research.
Also during the summer, Kottke Trucking donates the use of a reefer trailer to the Buffalo Lake Lions to keep food chilled for the Buffalo Lake Days celebration every July.
